Pilots' Group Accuses Air India and IndiGo of Unspoken Hiring Pact

The Airline Pilots' Association of India (ALPA India) has raised concerns that Air India and IndiGo may have an unspoken understanding to refrain from hiring each other's pilots. This allegation highlights potential issues in employment practices within India's aviation sector. ALPA India has formally addressed the matter to the Civil Aviation Ministry, urging intervention to ensure fair and open employment opportunities for pilots. Both Air India and IndiGo have declined to comment on these allegations.
