Tata Motors has made a landmark move by listing its Curvv.ev and Tiago.ev electric vehicles on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), opening the doors for central and state government departments across India to seamlessly procure these cutting-edge EVs. Prestigious Deliveries: Tata has delivered both Curvv.ev and Tiago.ev units to the Rashtrapati Bhavan, with the Curvv.ev in its striking Dark Edition and the Tiago.ev in Teal Blue, symbolizing the brand’s growing presence in India’s most esteemed institutions.
Make in India Milestone: All Tata.ev models boast over 50% local content, qualifying as Class 1 suppliers under the Public Procurement Policy, and reinforcing Tata’s leadership in indigenous electric mobility.
Curvv.ev Details: The Curvv.ev, Tata’s most premium electric offering, features a futuristic SUV-coupe design, advanced tech like a 12.3-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital cluster, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and Level 2 ADAS. It comes in two battery options-45kWh (502km range) and 55kWh (585km range)-with prices ranging from ₹17.49 lakh to ₹21.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tiago.ev Details: The Tiago.ev, Tata’s most affordable EV, offers two battery options-19.2kWh (223km range) and 24kWh (293km range)-with prices starting at ₹7.99 lakh. It features upgraded styling and tech, catering to mass-market and institutional buyers alike.
Broader EV Push: Tata’s full EV lineup, including Punch.ev, Nexon.ev, and Tigor.ev, is now available on GeM. The company is also gearing up for the launch of the Harrier.ev, further expanding its electric portfolio.
