PM Modi’s 12 Years In Office Marked As Golden Era Of India’s Reconstruction

On May 26, 2014, Narendra Modi took oath as India’s Prime Minister after a landslide victory. He was re-elected in 2019 with a bigger mandate and again in 2024 for a third consecutive term. As he completes 12 years in office, BJP leaders and Union ministers described his tenure as historic and unprecedented. 

Leaders Hail Modi’s Leadership

• BJP President Nitin Nabin called the 12 years “glorious years of Sankalp Se Siddhi,” highlighting India’s regained self-confidence and cultural renaissance.
• Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said Modi’s leadership marked a decisive shift in governance and national resolve, describing him as a “Pradhan-Sevak” dedicated to Maa Bharati.
• Union Minister Nitin Gadkari termed May 26, 2014, “the dawn of a new era,” citing achievements in infrastructure, digital transformation, and Aatmanirbhar Bharat. 

Golden Era Of Reconstruction

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan hailed Modi’s tenure as the “golden era of India’s reconstruction.” He emphasised reforms like Jan Dhan accounts, Ayushman Bharat, PM Awas Yojana, and Digital India, crediting Modi for empowering villages, farmers, women, and youth. 

NDA And Allies’ Praise

Leaders from BJP and JD(U) praised Modi’s governance for transparency, welfare initiatives, and foreign policy achievements. Bihar BJP announced a nationwide campaign from June 5 to June 21 to mark the milestone, highlighting 22 major achievements across sectors.
