PM Modi's Sacred Pilgrimage: A Day of Devotion by the Ganges in Mukhwa

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be touring Uttarakhand tomorrow, 6th of March 2025. Prime Minister Modi will do pooja and darshan at the Maa Ganga's winter abode in Mukhwa around 9:30 AM. He will later flag off trek and bike rally and also participate in a public meeting in Harsil at about 10:40 AM. This trip is under the Winter Tourism programme of the Uttarakhand government, which is intended to encourage religious tourism and stimulate the local economy. Thousands of pilgrims have already made the trip to the winter abodes of Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath under this scheme. The scheme is likely to benefit local businesses, such as homestays and tourism-based businesses.
