PNB Turns 131! A Banking Extravaganza with 34 New Products to Transform Your Financial Future

Punjab National Bank (PNB) celebrated its 131st Foundation Day in style and also launched 34 new innovative products aimed at improving customer experience and increasing financial inclusion. The event, which was held at the PNB Headquarters in Dwarka, New Delhi, was attended by Financial Services Secretary M Nagaraju, PNB MD & CEO Ashok Chandra, and other officials.

The bank launched 12 customer-focused deposit plans for different segments like women, farmers, senior citizens, and NRIs. Flagship products are PNB Salary Savings Account series and the Women Power Scheme. Digital initiatives include the launch of 10 technology-driven solutions like WhatsApp-based fixed deposit bookings and GST Express Loans to MSMEs. A live-chat assistant "Pihu" and QR code-based feedback facility were also rolled out to enhance service quality.

PNB's CSR activities were in the limelight as it collaborated with bodies such as KISS Foundation to assist disadvantaged students and donated infrastructure to Delhi schools. The event ended on a cultural note with performances and music by Meiyang Chang and Jahnvi Shrimankar, echoing PNB's focus on community outreach as well as banking innovation.
