Porwal Auto Components Ltd Enters Renewable Energy Business with 10 MW Solar and Wind Power Plant

Porwal Auto Components Ltd, one of the top manufacturers of auto components, is poised to diversify its business into the renewable energy space. Porwal Auto Components Ltd has come out with an announcement to augment its power generation capacity to 10 MW by 2025, based on solar and wind power. The move is an expansion of their already operational solar power plants of 1.80 MW and 3.0 MW for captive use. This expansion comes against the backdrop of India's increasingly large renewable energy market, whose solar capacity in 2024-25 was 100.33 GW. Porwal's move is also a part of the larger industrial trend of using clean energy sources to lower expenses and carbon footprints.
