IIT Roorkee, the organising institute for JEE Advanced 2026, will announce the results for Paper 1 and Paper 2 on June 1, 2026, at 10 am. On the same day, the final answer key and All India Rank (AIR) list will be published on the official JEE Advanced website, setting the stage for IIT counselling.

According to the official schedule, candidate response sheets will be released on May 21, followed by the provisional answer key on May 25 at 10 am. Candidates will then get a limited feedback window from May 25 to May 26, 5 pm to raise objections or comments on the provisional key. The final answer key, incorporating accepted challenges, will be published at 10 am on June 1, along with the JEE Advanced 2026 result and rank list.

How And Where To Check JEE Advanced 2026 Result

On result day, candidates must visit the official portal, jeeadv.ac.in, and log in using their JEE Advanced roll number, date of birth and registered mobile number to access their scorecard. The result will display subject-wise marks, aggregate score and qualifying status, while the rank list, released online will carry category-wise AIRs used for JoSAA counselling and IIT seat allocation. Students are advised to download and securely store multiple copies of their result and rank card for future admission and document verification rounds.

What Comes After Result Day

Once results are declared, the focus shifts to JoSAA counselling, where candidates will fill in their choices for IITs and other participating institutes based on their rank, category and programme preference. Cut-offs for individual institutes and branches will emerge gradually as rounds progress, so candidates should track official JoSAA notifications and use past-year opening and closing ranks as a guide but not a guarantee for their choice-filling strategy.
