Roots of Change: Women Farmers Strengthen Rural Foundations

Rural India is being changed by agricultural women through increased involvement and leadership. The rise of women's Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) has grown 128% within a span of two years and engaged more than 50,000 women. FPOs not only facilitate financial autonomy but also enhance supply chains and access to markets. Women are currently driving decision-making in agribusiness, steering farm innovations, and entrepreneurship. Their efforts don't only go into agriculture but also agritech, finances, and policymaking, providing economic stability and sustainability to rural towns.
