SBI Charts Ambitious $2 Billion Global Bond Voyage

India’s largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) is preparing to tap international debt markets in FY 2026-27, signaling its intent to strengthen capital buffers and diversify funding sources. The move comes amid rising global interest in Indian financial institutions and growing demand for dollar-denominated debt.
