Meta is said to be mulling an eye-watering $200 billion investment in a new AI-dedicated data center campus that could transform the tech industry. Although Meta dismissed the rumors as "pure speculation," insiders believe the company is scouting for locations in Louisiana, Wyoming, and Texas for the record-breaking endeavor. The decision is seen in the context of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg's announcement late last year of as much as $65 billion in AI infrastructure investment in 2025.
