Singapore and India Mark 60 Years of Diplomatic Relations with Grand Celebrations

Singapore and India are set to celebrate 60 years of strong diplomatic ties through a series of cultural, economic, and people-centric events aimed at strengthening their historic bond. The celebrations began with the unveiling of a commemorative logo by Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam. The highlights of the visit include a special Indian Film Festival in Singapore, which will feature 18 iconic films, cultural performances, and business forums to boost bilateral trade and technology partnerships. This milestone underscores the nations' shared vision for collaboration in areas like education, tourism, and innovation, fostering deeper ties for years to come.
