Singing a New Tune: Koyal.Al Drops Generative AI Magic at WAVES 2025

Next-generation GenAI audio-to-video storytelling platform Koyal.AI unveiled itself with fanfare at World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025 in Mumbai. The platform amazed individuals through a live audio-to-video experiment of music pieces being converted to immersive, emotionally rich video tales using advanced AI that takes the cue of emotion, context, and storytelling straight from audio.

The launch involved partnerships with music icons A.R. Rahman, Shankar Mahadevan, Ricky Kej, and Meet Brothers for the WAVES Album, demonstrating Koyal's ability to create artist-specific, visually engaging videos at scale. Started by MIT and Carnegie Mellon alumni Gauri and Mehul Agarwal, Koyal.AI leverages its own CHARCHA engine-presented at NeurIPS 2024-to provide context-aware, personalized outputs.

With the elimination of traditional cost and complexity hurdles, Koyal.AI enables music creators, podcasters, and brands to produce studio-quality videos seamlessly, setting new benchmarks for India's creator economy.
