Skybound Again: Hanoi-Moscow Flights Resume After 3 Years

Vietnam Airlines will resume direct flights between Hanoi and Moscow on May 8, 2025, after a three-year break. Two weekly flights will initially be operated on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Boeing 787 planes. The number of flights will be raised to three per week by July 2026. Special promotional fares and baggage charges are available. This action will help increase tourism and trade between Vietnam and Russia, with up to 500,000 Russian tourists expected in Vietnam in 2025. The resumption facilitates connectivity and helps both nations' aviation and tourism industries recover.
