South Central Railway (SCR) Revolutionizes Train Travel: 3% Cashback on Digital Tickets

South Central Railway (SCR) introduced a revolutionary digital payment system on its UTS mobile app, providing a 3% cashback on R-Wallet tickets. The feature lets customers make deposits of up to ₹20,000 and buy unreserved tickets from anywhere in the country, without having to stand in lines. The app accepts payments using multiple options, including UPI-based services and internet banking. SCR registers a remarkable 12% growth in daily app users, from 83,510 in 2023-24 to 93,487 in 2024-25. This easy-to-use app on Android, iOS, and Windows is designed to make ticket booking easier and facilitate cashless payments throughout Telangana.
