STL (Sterlite Technologies Limited) Partners with Wyre to Accelerate FTTH Network Expansion in Belgium

Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL) has announced a strategic partnership with Wyre, the newly formed joint venture between Telenet and Fluvius, to supply high-performance optical cables and advanced solutions for Belgium's fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network expansion. This collaboration aims to accelerate the deployment of next-generation broadband infrastructure across Flanders and parts of Brussels. STL will provide custom-designed optical solutions to support Wyre's ambitious goal of upgrading the existing hybrid fiber-coaxial network to a full FTTH network capable of delivering speeds up to 10Gb/s. The partnership underscores STL's growing presence in the European market and its commitment to advancing digital connectivity.
