According to the latest meteorological outlook, Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Bharatpur, Alwar, Sikar, Jhunjhunu and nearby areas may see repeated spells of thundershowers accompanied by lightning and winds in the 30–50 kmph range. Some pockets of eastern and northern Rajasthan could experience brief, intense downpours, while western districts are more likely to see light to moderate rain with dust storms. Daytime temperatures, which had started climbing towards peak pre-monsoon levels, are expected to dip by 2–4 degrees in many places, bringing temporary relief from the heat.

In urban areas, the key risks include waterlogging in low-lying colonies, tree fall, and brief power disruptions due to snapped lines.
