Swipe Right for Style: Gen Z Falls Head Over Heels for Amazon's Fashion Hub

Amazon Fashion's Next Gen Store has seen a staggering growth in its Gen Z shopper base, with three times the shoppers since the store's launch in 2023. The fashion online platform, which has over 2 million products from over 340 brands, has also seen a four times growth in customers from tier-two cities. Fashion trends such as Y2K styles, 90s grunge, and streetwear are gaining momentum beyond urban India, with good traction in Chandigarh, Jaipur, and Surat. The trend is indicative of a change in India's fashion landscape, with Gen Z consumers from across geographies embracing self-expression through fashion. To leverage the growth, Amazon Fashion will be hosting a Next Gen online shopping festival from March 20-24, with up to 60 percent off on carefully curated collections.
