Tata Communications Limited has announced the incorporation of TC (Shanghai) Technology Company Limited, a joint venture with Shanghai Runshengtong Management Consulting Co., Ltd. The move marks a strategic expansion into China’s telecommunications and technology services market.
Strategic Partnership
The joint venture was formalized through an agreement signed on February 27, 2026, with incorporation effective March 12, 2026. Tata Communications (Hong Kong) Limited, a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary, and Runshengtong will hold equal stakes in TC Shanghai.
Business Scope
The new entity will operate across licensed and general projects, including value-added telecom services, end-to-end technology solutions, software development, data processing, and technical consulting. This aligns with Tata Communications’ vision of driving digital transformation globally.
