Tata Motors Supercharges India’s EV Revolution: 500 ‘Mega’ Chargers & 10,000+ Points via 4 Key Partnerships

Tata Motors’ electric mobility arm, TPEM, has launched a game-changing initiative to install 500 high-capacity ‘Mega’ EV chargers across India by 2025, alongside 10,000+ charging points through partnerships with Chargezone, Glida, Statiq, and Zeon. Announced on December 12, 2024, this collaboration leverages TPEM’s insights from 1.15 lakh Tata EVs on roads to strategically deploy chargers at high-traffic locations. The initiative includes RFID-enabled smart payments and loyalty programs to enhance user experience. This expansion builds on Tata’s existing network of 5,600+ public chargers and aligns with its goal to launch 10 EVs by 2025, accelerating India’s shift to sustainable mobility.
