Telangana's Economic Growth Accelerates Despite GST Challenges

Governor Jishnu Dev Varma consolidated Telangana's resolve to use GST as a vehicle for economic development in his speech to the state legislature. Though there was initial apprehension, the state has demonstrated considerable strength, and GST collections have picked up pace. The governor underscored the state's active steps to streamline tax procedures and improve ease of doing business. He highlighted Telangana's position as a national champion of economic development, mentioning the recent investments that were attracted at the World Economic Forum in Davos worth ₹1,78,950 crore. The state government's inclusive policies, path-breaking reforms, and people-friendly governance have made Telangana a symbol of prosperity and progress for the country.
