Textbooks and Taj Mahal: Prof's Trip Builds Scholarly Bridges

Dr. Dhiman Chattopadhyay, Associate Professor at Shippensburg University's Department of Communication, Journalism, and Media, has just returned from a fruitful trip to India, boosting international academic collaborations. During his visit, Dr. Chattopadhyay gave lectures and workshops at elite institutions such as Symbiosis International University in Pune and Sister Nivedita University in Kolkata. He discussed issues from media and culture to digital technology and AI in mass communication. The trip also involved discussions regarding potential faculty exchanges and study-abroad programs. Dr. Chattopadhyay's keynote presentation at a book launch in Kolkata was a peak experience of the trip, and he spoke there about the changing role of the mass communication professor in the new media age.
