Trailblazing Women Shatter Everest's Glass Ceiling

 

In a testament to human resilience and determination, several fearless women have etched their names in mountaineering history by conquering Mount Everest. Bachendri Pal became the first Indian woman to reach the summit in 1984, paving the way for future generations. Junko Tabei of Japan made history as the first woman ever to summit Everest in 1975. More recently, Lhakpa Sherpa, a Nepalese climber, has set an astounding record with ten successful Everest summits. These remarkable achievements highlight the indomitable spirit of women in extreme sports.
