Voices Of Bharat: Delhi Shabdotsav Showcases Ideas, Poetry And Tradition

Delhi is set to host one of its most ambitious literary and cultural gatherings with the Delhi Shabdotsav 2026, scheduled from January 2 to 4 at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium. Organized by Suruchi Prakashan with support from the Hindi Academy, Government of Delhi, the festival promises to be a vibrant celebration of India’s cultural and intellectual consciousness.  

The event will run daily from 10 am to 10 pm, offering a packed schedule of discussions, performances, and book launches. Vice President C P Radhakrishnan will be the chief guest, while Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will inaugurate the festival. Culture Minister Kapil Mishra emphasized that Shabdotsav is not merely an event but a movement to showcase Bharat’s rising confidence and creativity rooted in timeless traditions.

• More than 100 eminent speakers including authors, filmmakers, journalists, and thinkers will participate  
• Over 40 book releases scheduled across three days  
• Two major poetry symposiums (Kavi Sammelans) to bring together leading poets

The Delhi Shabdotsav 2026 is expected to draw large crowds, offering a unique blend of literature, music, ideas, and cultural expression. With its diverse programming, the festival aims to inspire dialogue, creativity, and a deeper connection to India’s civilizational roots.
