The strategic acquisition comes as part of WIL's continuous efforts to enhance its position in key sectors and diversify its portfolio. The takeover of Aicitta, an intelligent technology company, is likely to improve WIL's strength in high-end engineering solutions. This is the second investment made by WIL recently, following its fundraising efforts through a warrant issue that raised a lot of capital for capacity building and infrastructure modernization.
