Speaking at the Advantage Assam 2.0 Business Summit, World Bank Country Director Auguste Tano Kouame declared India "the shining light in the world" for investors. Despite a slight growth slowdown to 7.2% projected by the RBI for the current fiscal year, Kouame emphasized that minor variations do not alter the bank's positive outlook. He urged global investors to capitalize on India's robust growth trajectory, stating, "If you are looking to invest, then come and invest here." This vote of confidence comes amid recent FII outflows and market volatility, highlighting India's resilience in the face of global economic headwinds.
