Zaggle Prepaid Acquires 26% Stake in Mobileware to Boost Digital Payments

Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Ltd has approved the acquisition of a 26% equity stake in Mobileware Technologies for ₹15.6 crore. The strategic investment aims to enhance Zaggle's fintech capabilities, particularly in embedded payment solutions. Mobileware, a key player in India’s digital payments ecosystem, offers UPI, IMPS, and AEPS solutions alongside its flagship platform, TransXT. This partnership will enable Zaggle to co-develop advanced payment use cases like lending and credit management services, strengthening its offerings in the BFSI sector. Mobileware’s leadership team will continue operations post-acquisition.
