15-Day Traffic Diversion on AJC Bose Road Flyover for Essential Repairs

The AJC Bose Road flyover in Kolkata would face a diversion of traffic from 5th January 2025 for 15 days so as to undertake a very crucial repairing of roads taken up by the Urban Development Department. The incoming traffic on this stretch will move to Park Circus seven-point crossing via Suhrawardi Avenue, Darga Road, number 4 bridge, and then the connector near Park Circus at night time i.e., 10 pm - 6 am. Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority identifies poor condition of 600 meters of the east-bound ramp from AJC Bose Road flyover to Parama flyover, and thus needs to be overhauled. Scraping off the present bituminous surface and providing an additional one for a smooth ride, the stretch will give them an effective commute without inconvenience. Passengers are requested to make the appropriate travel plan during this period.
