5000 Strong: Bank of India Hits Milestone with Massive 111 Branch Rollout

The Bank of India (BOI) has enriched its extensive network by opening 111 new branches throughout the country. With the new openings, BOI's total count touches and exceeds the mark of over 5,000 branches. The virtual opening was done by Managing Director and CEO Rajneesh Karnatak. This expansion strengthens BOI's presence in urban and semi-urban areas, with Hyderabad Field General Manager Office experiencing the highest increase of 17 new branches. The endeavor aims at enhancing financial inclusion and customer accessibility. Karnatak stated that this strategy is centered on the bank's goal of enhancing accessibility to banking facilities in key areas. BOI is also setting out to smoothly facilitate branch efficiency under the initiative of TechNext and restructuring of credit operations.
