A Dose of Relief: Minister Claims Improved Medicine Supply to Hospitals

Karnataka Health and Family Welfare Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao has assured the public that the supply of medicines to government hospitals has significantly improved. This announcement follows a high-level meeting on the health sector, where officials discussed strategies to enhance healthcare services and optimize resource allocation.  

Dinesh Gundu Rao emphasized that no patient has been denied treatment in government hospitals despite the rising influx of patients. He shared that the department is working tirelessly to ensure uninterrupted provision of medicines and essential medical services. During the meeting, officials highlighted the importance of better coordination among healthcare institutions to streamline patient care, alongside plans for strengthening infrastructure to address service delivery gaps.  

This progress reflects the government’s continued efforts to build a more efficient and resilient healthcare system, striving to meet the needs of patients across Karnataka.
