Adani Green Expands Renewable Portfolio: Commissions 57.2 MW Wind Project, Total Capacity Reaches 11,666 MW

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has commissioned a 57.2 MW wind power component of its wind-solar hybrid project at Khavda, Gujarat, through its subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Forty Eight Limitet. The plant will commence power generation from January 15, 2025, following clearances received at 2:51 PM on January 14. This addition increases AGEL's total operational renewable generation capacity to 11,666.1 MW. The commissioning strengthens AGEL's position in the Khavda renewable energy park, where the company is developing a massive 30 GW facility spread across 538 sq km. This project is part of AGEL's broader target of achieving 50 GW capacity by 2030.
