AI to the Rescue: CM Stalin Says Bye to Third Language in Schools

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin stepped up his opposition to the three-language policy on Friday, calling for the implementation of Artificial Intelligence and cutting-edge translation technology as a substitute. Stalin contended that in the era of AI, imposing any language as a third language in schools is not required, as cutting-edge translation technology already eliminates language barriers in an instant. He underlined that students must excel in their mother tongue and English while acquiring proficiency in science and technology. The Chief Minister's assertion is made in the backdrop of continuous tensions between Tamil Nadu and the Centre on the enforcement of the National Education Policy 2020 and its language policy.
