Air India Expands Codeshare with ANA, Shifts Tokyo Flights to Haneda

Air India has announced a significant upgrade to its India-Japan services, effective March 31, 2025. The airline will shift its Delhi-Tokyo flights from Narita to Haneda Airport, reducing travel time to central Tokyo by half. Additionally, Air India has expanded its codeshare agreement with All Nippon Airways (ANA), pending regulatory approvals. From April 1, 2025, Air India will place its 'AI' code on ANA's flights from Haneda to six major Japanese cities. Reciprocally, ANA will codeshare on Air India's flights between Delhi and Tokyo Haneda, as well as several domestic Indian routes. This partnership aims to boost connectivity and enhance travel experiences between the two countries.
