All Aboard the Eid Express: Bangladesh Railway Introduces Online Ticket Booking

Bangladesh Railway begins advance bookings for Eid-ul-Fitr travel on March 14, continuing till March 20. Travelers can book tickets for trips from March 24 to March 30, with 100% of tickets being booked online and 25% booked from originating points. The railway will introduce five more pairs of special trains to cater to higher demand. Return ticket sales start on March 24. As a capacity boost, 44 additional passenger coaches will be attached to regular trains. The move is designed to facilitate easy travel during the festive period, with the tickets not exceeding four seats per booking and being non-refundable.
