Apple Appoints Indian-American Kevan Parekh as New CFO

Apple has named Kevan Parekh, a first-generation Indian-American, as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1, 2025. Parekh, who has been with Apple for over a decade, currently serves as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis. He will succeed Luca Maestri, who will transition to leading Apple's corporate services teams. CEO Tim Cook praised Parekh's "sharp intellect, wise judgment, and financial brilliance," expressing confidence in his ability to guide Apple's financial future. Prior to joining Apple, Parekh held senior roles at Thomson Reuters and General Motors.
