Assam Investment Summit 2.0: PM Modi to Inaugurate Key Economic Event

Assam is set to host its largest investment summit, Advantage Assam 2.0, on February 25-26, 2025, in Guwahati. The event has garnered international attention with seven confirmed partner countries, including Japan, Singapore, and Australia. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the summit, which aims to showcase Assam's economic potential across various sectors. The state government plans to sign strategic MoUs with Japan for recruiting 50,000 workers and with Singapore for hiring nurses. With over 7,000 confirmed participants and 349 scheduled business meetings, the summit is poised to transform Assam into a key investment hub in South Asia.
