Austria Dominates at FIS Ski Jumping World Cup in Poland

In a stunning display of skill, Austria clinched victory at the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup team event in Zakopane, Poland, on January 18, 2025. The Austrian team, featuring Daniel Tschofenig, Jan Hoerl, Stefan Kraft, and Maximilian Ortner, scored a remarkable 1170.4 points, outperforming Slovenia by 40.8 points. This triumph marked a significant achievement for Ortner, who celebrated his first World Cup podium finish. Austria has been very consistent and, therefore, a real powerhouse in ski jumping.
