Avneet Kaur Schools Tom Cruise on Namaste—Hollywood Meets Indian Tradition

Bollywood’s Avneet Kaur had a charming cultural exchange with Hollywood icon Tom Cruise in London, where she introduced him to the traditional Indian namaste. The lighthearted interaction happened ahead of the highly anticipated release of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, set to hit Indian theaters on May 17.  

Cruise, known for his affable personality, greeted Kaur with the familiar Western handshake, but Kaur quickly demonstrated the elegance of the namaste gesture. Cruise followed suit, pressing his palms together in the traditional Indian greeting, much to Kaur’s delight.  

This wasn’t their first meeting. The actress had previously visited the set of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, where she witnessed Cruise’s dedication to performing real, high-stakes stunts.  

The interaction quickly gained traction on social media, with fans celebrating the fusion of Hollywood charisma and Indian tradition. Kaur expressed her excitement online, sharing that the moment was both fun and memorable.
