Bajaj Acquires Allianz's 26% Stake in Insurance JVs for ₹24,180 Crore

Bajaj Finserv is acquiring Allianz's 26% stake in Bajaj Allianz General Insurance and Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance for ₹24,180 crore. The deal, valued at ₹13,780 crore for the general insurance arm and ₹10,400 crore for life insurance, marks the end of a 24-year partnership. Bajaj Finserv's stake will rise to 75.01% in both companies, with full ownership expected after regulatory approvals. This strategic move aims to drive long-term value creation and strengthen Bajaj's position in India's insurance market.
