Bajaj Auto Board Approves ₹1,364 Crore Investment in Netherlands Subsidiary

Bajaj Auto's board has approved an investment of up to €150 million (approximately ₹1,364 crore) in its wholly-owned subsidiary, Bajaj Auto International Holdings BV (BAIH BV), based in the Netherlands. The investment, to be completed by March 31, 2026, aims to support the subsidiary's future growth and investment opportunities. BAIH BV specializes in investment activities and currently holds a 49.9% stake in Pierer Bajaj AG, which in turn owns 75% of KTM AG's parent company. This move aligns with Bajaj Auto's focus on increasing its stake in the financially stressed Austrian bikemaker, KTM AG. Despite this strategic investment, Bajaj Auto's stock has declined 14% over the past six months.
