Bengaluru’s Yellow Line Set to Electrify Commutes by May 2025—Techies, Rejoice!

Bengaluru's long-awaited Yellow Line of Namma Metro, connecting RV Road to Bommasandra and the tech hub of Electronics City, will witness its opening by May 2025. Such timeframe was given out during an assembly session by Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar. The line will span 19.1 km with 16 stations, greatly relieving traffic congestion in southern Bengaluru, specifically around the Central Silk Board junction. Initially, three trains running on a 30-minute service will start the operation, with more trains to come later. Such a metro extension is likely to develop into the better public transport that will allow the riders to reach their destinations quickly.
