Bessemer's Big Bet: $350 Million Fund to Supercharge India's Digital Dreams

Bessemer Venture Partners has raised $350 million for its second India-dedicated fund. It will focus on investing in AI-powered services, SaaS, fintech, digital health, direct-to-consumer brands, and cybersecurity. The company has traditionally backed early-stage firms, with more than 80% of its recent investments in India at the Series A level or earlier. Bessemer wants to use India's expanding digital infrastructure and talent pool to support bold visionaries. The fund is a major investment into India's startup ecosystem as Bessemer leverages its current portfolio of unicorns such as Swiggy and BigBasket.
