Bharat Forge to Acquire 100% Stake in AAM India Manufacturing

Bharat Forge Ltd. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a 100% stake in AAM India Manufacturing Corporation Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings. The transaction, valued at Rs 544.53 crore, includes AAM India's commercial vehicle axle business in Pune and Chennai, along with the Pune Engineering and Development Centre. This strategic acquisition aims to expand Bharat Forge's presence in the commercial vehicle axle sector, leveraging AAM India's technical expertise and existing industry relationships. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals from the Competition Commission of India (CCI).
