Bharti Airtel Tops Jefferies’ Telecom Picks for 2025 as Jio’s Subscriber Growth Fuels Industry Revival

Jefferies has named Bharti Airtel its favorite telecom pick for 2025, with marked subscriber addition and an increase in market share despite recent tariff hike moves. It maintains a target price of ₹2,040, which reflects an upside of nearly 24%. Reliance Jio has started to look better, with 5.1 million subscribers added in November, helping the company to lead the list again. Vodafone Idea, meanwhile, struggles with continued subscriber loss. This strategic positioning is well highlighted in the dynamic landscape of India's telecom sector.
