Elon Musk and Gautam Adani have seen their wealth plummet in 2025. Musk's wealth has fallen by $35.2 billion to $397 billion, courtesy mainly of fluctuations in Tesla stock. Adani has lost $11.9 billion, taking his net worth down to $66.8 billion, amidst continued legal scrutiny of his conglomerate. Adani is currently ranked number 23 in the world and is Asia's second-richest individual after Mukesh Ambani. Indian billionaires such as Mukesh Ambani, Shiv Nadar, and Shapoor Mistry have also experienced declines in wealth this year678.
