Budget 2025: FIDC Highlights Need for Dedicated Refinance Window to Empower NBFCs

As Budget 2025 approaches, the Finance Industry Development Council (FIDC) has called for a dedicated refinance window to strengthen Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs). This initiative, if implemented, could enhance liquidity, enabling NBFCs to expand credit access to underserved sectors like MSMEs and rural enterprises. FIDC emphasized the pivotal role NBFCs play in driving financial inclusion and boosting economic growth. A refinance window would ensure sustained capital flow, fostering resilience and scalability within the sector.
