Budget 2025: Will Sitharaman Deliver on Affordable Roti, Kapda, and Makaan?

As India waits with bated breath for the Union Budget 2025, all eyes are on Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to tackle the issues of affordability in the essentials of life-roti, kapda, aur makaan. With inflation creeping up and stagnant wages eating into consumer spending, stakeholders are pushing for measures that could bring down GST on basic garments and spur domestic textile production.
