Captain Cool's Hot Strategy: MS Dhoni's Six-Hitting Philosophy

The captain of Chennai Super Kings, MS Dhoni, has spoken about his thoughts while batting as a finisher in the IPL. The 43-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman pointed out that whenever he has few balls to play, his main aim is hitting sixes. "At that stage, your thought process is only to hit a six. You hardly think of hitting a four." He explained that hitting sixes is very important under stressful conditions and sometimes two runs can make a big difference. "I want to maximize my runs." Dhoni's concept of hitting big in tough conditions has worked out for him, even at this stage of his cricket career, playing a finishing role for CSK. As IPL 2025 has started, fans are excited to see more of Dhoni's finishes. The veteran cricketer is only 19 runs away of becoming the leading run scorer for CSK in IPL history.
