Check‑In to Growth: ITC Bets Big on Bengal’s Hospitality Future

Currently, ITC operates seven hotels in West Bengal, including two super-luxury properties in Kolkata—ITC Sonar and ITC Royal Bengal. With five hotels already under development, including a luxury property in Siliguri, the addition of three more projects underscores ITC’s confidence in Bengal’s tourism growth. Puri emphasized that the company is in the process of acquiring land for the new hotels, which will further diversify ITC’s hospitality portfolio and enhance its ability to cater to both domestic and international travelers.
