Chhaava Turns Vicky Kaushal's Highest Grosser, Crosses ₹300 Crore Globally

Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava became the first Indian blockbuster of the year after grossing the ₹300 crore level globally. For the eight (Friday, 21 February), India net collection of Chhaava reached ₹228.69 crore and its single-day contribution of all languages was ₹9.44 crore. The movie Chhaava has overtaken the entire total net box collection of every Hindi film in this year that released, about ₹194 crore. The success at the box office of Chhaava brought in a badly needed boost for the Bollywood scene that had shown weak beginnings early for the new year. The performance of the box office on the part of the movie saw continued strength by going strong week-end after weak weekend, something other movies showed later.
