CMPDI Appoints Mahata Agarwal & Associates As Secretarial Auditor For Five-Year Term

Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has announced the appointment of M/s Mahata Agarwal & Associates as its Secretarial Auditor for FY2025-26 to FY2029-30. The decision, approved by the Board on May 20, 2026, follows recommendations from the Audit Committee and is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM.  

The Ranchi-based Mini Ratna PSU emphasized that the appointment was made through a GeM tender process, ensuring transparency and compliance with SEBI and Companies Act provisions. The firm, established in 2021, is peer-reviewed and specializes in corporate governance, SEBI regulations, and compliance advisory services.
